Internships
Working in a Congressional office as an intern is an excellent opportunity to learn about public policy and government while gaining practical office experience. Internships are available in the Stockton, Antioch, and Washington, D.C. offices.
Military Academy Nominations
As the Representative for California's 9th Congressional District, each year Congressman Jerry McNerney nominates a limited number of people to four of the five service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
