Internship Positions Available In The Office Of Congressman McNerney

Stockton, Calif. – Congressman Jerry McNerney (D-Stockton) announced today that he has openings in each of his district offices for Congressional Interns.  The interns will be engaged in the civics process and get first-hand experience in the daily operations of a Congressional office.

“I encourage students who have an interest in the legislative process to apply for the positions in both of my offices.  This is a great way to learn more about the government, and to give back to our community,” said Congressman McNerney.

College and post-graduate students are encouraged to apply, and high school students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  All internships are unpaid and are designed to provide the student with educational and professional experience.  The Congressman’s office will partner with institutions that offer academic credit for internships.
